Hi, my name is Chris McKee, I’m a licensed contractor, Ca. Lic. No. 853587, I have been in the remodel business 20 years after 20 years in aerospace as a mechanical designer. I come by splinters honestly; my father was in the lumber business supplying So. Ca. with redwood. While still in aerospace many friends asked if I would remodel kitchens or build custom furniture, which I did. In the early 90’s I along with many others were laid off, I took the opportunity to pursue a career I really loved and the rest they say is history. I have been able to use these skills in another passion, participating in disaster relief; I’ve served in 911, Sri Lanka after the tsunami and Louisiana after Katrina. I have also served in Mexico for many years; this is where our youngest daughter was found in an orphanage. I still try to be available when ever I am needed.
